Need to keep it light on St. Patty’s Day before the big corned beef feast? Try this low carb smoothie to keep you going until dinner.
Ingredients You’ll need:
1 cup spinach or your favorite power greens
½ peeled avocado (This makes it creamy and keeps you feeling full!)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder or collagen powder
1 Tablespoon of lemon juice, lime juice or apple cider vinegar
¼ teaspoon of vanilla (if you’d like)
A handful of ice cubes
Blend away, top with a sprig of mint, and enjoy!
For a touch of extra sweetness, add a few of your favorite berries or a few drops of a liquid Monk fruit or Stevia sweetener.
