Patients come into my office frequently saying that their knees, or other joints, are “bone on bone”.
Some of these patients have suffered for years putting off joint replacement surgery because of time, money or medical conditions that make surgery a dangerous option for them. They don’t have to suffer and neither do you if have the same condition.

Two of the most common regenerative medicine treatments used today include injections of platelet rich plasma (PRP) or ozone into joints that have decreased cartilage. PRP and ozone help to recruit the body’s own stem cells to the area in order to regenerate tissues. Ozone is produced from medical grade oxygen and PRP is collected from a person’s own blood and concentrated. These are then injected into damaged muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints to increase healing and regeneration of these tissues.

Many of my patients have avoided joint replacement surgery completely with a series of treatments for their joints and others have been able to avoid rotator cuff repair surgery by utilizing these therapies to speed up their own healing and repair processes.

If you are dealing with painful joints or other soft tissue injuries and would like to know more,
contact our office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Anderson today to see if you’re a good candidate for PRP or ozone therapy.
